​The Heart of Illinois Skating Club has one high school team representing the central Illinois area including Peoria, East Peoria, Dunlap, Bartonville and all the other surrounding schools in the area.  Skaters on this team represent Peoria Combined at High School Competitions and competes in the U.S. Figure Skating High School series.

2024 season for the team 

Jan 21 They competed at the Loves Park Arena and had a good showing both the Low and Intermediate Divisions

Feb 18th  They competed at the Oakton Ice Arena, in Park Ridge, IL.  The Low Team placed 3rd overall and the High Team did a great job as well

March 10th  They competed at the Crystal Ice House in Crystal Lake, IL.  The Low team took 2nd place and high team did a great job.
